Stella's party in paris

Hey There. Wow! I have to say, blogging has been a challenge now that the girls are home all day with me and summer is here. It's hard to believe that my little Estelle is now 8yrs old! We had travel plans that fell through so here is what I put together last minute for Miss Stella. She requested a French birthday party (so her), and so that's what we did. She invited some school friends, and they had a blast. So aside from the wild and crazy fourth party we had at the house, here is what I have been up to this week

Menu
Mini Cheese Croissant Sandwiches
Carrot and Celery Crudites
and Fresh Summer Berries

The girls had fun as they ate lunch, reciting words and phrases with these French lesson sheets that they got to take home.

The Parisian dessert buffet

Eclairs
French Macaroons
White and dark Chocolate pretzels
 Mini Vanilla cupcakes
and
French Lemonade

They danced to french music!
( Stella and her friend  Emma gave quite a show)

And the hit of the afternoon....
Pin the flag on the Eiffel Tower

The girls ended the party with french braids and watched Madeline in the media room with their kettle corn.

They loved getting there hair braided, although the salon shut down half way through. Liam Started to fuss and all that braiding was getting old.

The weather was great but to hot to play outside.

Stella and her friends had fun and I was pooped !

Hope you all had a great week!
